The farm is located at the centre of ‘Cova da Beira’, which is a perfect starting point to visit the historic Schist villages in the centre of Portugal, a gastronomic tour of the cheeses and wine of ‘Beira Interior’ or to explore the nature reserve of the highest Mountain in Continental Portugal, ‘Serra da Estrela’.

‘Quinta do Alçada’ has 100 hectares that you can wander through and discover wild flower meadows, Roe deer, Stork nests, small wooded areas or streams where you can go for a wild swim. Located between 2 mountains, ‘Serra da Estrela’ and ‘Serra de Peraboa’ and surrounded by small farms, there are plenty of picturesque trails to explore.
